Spirituality

The Spirituality Team provides opportunities to get closer to God as we travel our journey of faith. Being closer to God feeds our spiritual fire, energizing us to love God, love others, and be the people and church family that God wants us to be.

The team is asking you to pray EVERY DAY for our church as we go through the discernment process toward our future. The prayers are also available on the table in the parlor and is in the bulletin under Prayers for the People each week.

For the Parish – Book of Common Prayer, page 817, # 11
Almighty and everliving God, ruler of all things in heaven and on earth, hear our prayers for this parish family. Strengthen the faithful, arouse the careless, and restore the penitent. Grant us all things necessary for our common life, and bring us all to be of one heart and mind within your holy Church; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

For Guidance – Book of Common Prayer, page 832, #58
O God, by whom the meek are guided in judgement, and light rises up in darkness for the godly: Grant us, in all our doubts and uncertainties, the grace to ask what you would have us to do, that the Spirit of wisdom may save us from all false choices, and that in your light we may see light, and in your straight path may not stumble; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
